Where the chain helps today
Ballots and proofs stay off-chain, and the chain serves only as a public anchor. When voting happens in person at polling stations, on paper or at a kiosk, there is no need for secret-ballot cryptography on-chain. Instead, the chain publishes and anchors the results.
Every station is anchored
Each polling station’s signed tally, along with a hash of its results sheet, is recorded on-chain. Even across a hypothetical 100,000 stations, that comes to roughly 100,000 transactions — comfortably within capacity.
Anyone can check their copy
Parties and observers compare their own copies of the station sheets against what has been published.
